Tournament Rules
Please read the rules of the tournament below. By registering you agree to the following:
❖ The same 3 members are required to be present for gameplay once the team has
already participated in a gaming session.
❖ Teams are allotted 5 minutes grace for latecomers, once in-game point will be
deducted thereafter per minute up to 5 minutes after 10 minutes have lapse. The team
will be asked to leave the stations to make way for the standby teams. (team members
must be seated at station at this time)
❖ Zero use of explicit language, abuse or out of game display of aggression will be
tolerated in store.
❖ No eating while in a gaming session.
Tournament Starts at 10:00 am – 3:00pm
❖ Three Branches
➢ South Park courts 18th November
➢ Freeport courts 2nd December
➢ Megastore courts 16th December
❖ Playtime: 1 Hour 20 minutes (80 min) per session
❖ 3 sessions per day
❖ 30-minute break after each session (Refreshments and setup of incoming team)
Team: 6 teams per day (2 teams per session)
❖ Teams will consist of 3 persons each
❖ 2 teams will battle head to head for the stated time on a predetermined stage
❖ The teams with the most points in games at the end, is the winner of that session, the
loser is eliminated from the tournament
❖ The winning teams from the previous location of the tournament will advance to the
next location to play 3 new incoming teams.
Game Play (fortnite)
❖ 2 teams will battle head to head for the stated time on a predetermined stage
❖ The team with the most points in games at the end, is the winner of that preliminary
session
❖ The winning 3 teams from each preliminary session will compete in the last team
standing knockout stage
➢ 20 minutes per session
➢ The winning team moves on to play the final team
➢ The winning team of the knockout stages is the winner of the tournament with
each person winning a prize
Surprise Final Battle
❖ Tournament-winning team members will battle each other in a free for
❖ 1 final 10 minutes session, where the winner is determined by the in-game points
➢ 1st prize $10k Gaming PC Setup (from KMS Electronics)
➢ 2nd prize TCL TV (from Courts)
➢ 3rd prize computer accessories (from Radio Shack)
